Perfect alfredo sauce

this one is yum yum yum!!

1 pint of heavy whipping cream or half an half ( the whipping cream is much better)
1 stick of butter
2 tbsp cream cheese
1/2 to 34 cup parm cheese
1 tbs garlic powder

( I usually double or triple this recipes depending on how many mouths you feed)

in a sauce pan combine butter heavy whipping cream and cream cheese. Simmer this until all is melted and mixed well.add the parm. cheese and garlic powder. simmer this for 15 to 20 mins on low. you may also wish to season with slat and pepper. then top over your favorite pasta and we like to have garlic bread on the side!

Ground beef caserole w/ potatoes

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef , browned
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic ( i just buy the preminced kind)
3 large potatoes , sliced thinly
2 carrots shredded
1 cancream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheese

Brown beef with chopped onions and garlic. transfer browned beef mixture to a casserole dish add a layer of sliced raw potatoes sprinkle with salt and pepper add carrrots to cover potatoes. pour soup over carrots ( i like to add a cup of milk to the soup first so the dish is not dry). Bake at 350 for 40 to 50 mins or until potatoes are tender sprinkle shredded cheese over top and bake for about 5 mins longer, or until cheese is melted.
